Financial Video & Animation

Shorten the path from interest to action.

Financial products create friction when people have to work too hard to understand why they matter. That friction can show up as slower decisions, weaker conversion and a harder path from interest to adoption.

Strategic video and animation can make the value easier to grasp, giving prospects and customers a clearer reason to move forward, use the product and deepen the relationship over time.

We’re getting interest, but not enough action.

If people are landing on the page, sitting through the pitch or opening the email campaign but still hesitating, the message may be asking them to work too hard to understand the value.

We can identify where the message is losing people, then use video and animation to make the value and next step clearer so more interest turns into action.

Turn existing customers into more growth

Customers can sign up without ever discovering the full value of what they already have. That can leave features unused, new products overlooked and opportunities for retention or expansion on the table.

We can turn overlooked features and missed cross-sell opportunities into more value from the customers you already have.

A new generation doesn’t see the point of starting yet.

When financial goals like home ownership, retirement or long-term investing feel impossibly far away, telling younger customers to “start saving” isn’t always enough. If they can’t see how today’s decisions connect to a future that feels realistic, it’s easy to disengage altogether.

We can help you make that future more tangible, showing how smaller decisions, different paths and financial products can add up over time so the next step feels relevant now, not decades away.

“They really understood the outcome we wanted. They also grasped the behavior we wanted our internal people to change and honed in on that.”

FINANCIAL STORIES BUILT TO HELP PEOPLE UNDERSTAND AND ACT.
Alpine Credits

Breaking through a crowded lending market.

See the Alpine Credits case study

The goal
Help Alpine Credits stand out in a crowded lending market while building on the recognition the brand had already earned with Canadian homeowners.

The strategy
We built a superhero-inspired campaign around real borrowing needs, including debt consolidation, home renovations and business funding, giving Alpine a distinctive way to turn financial products into relatable customer stories.

The result
The idea scaled across TV, online video, radio, social and out-of-home, giving Alpine a flexible creative platform that could work across the campaign. Client satisfaction and loan lead pipeline volume were both used as measures of success.

Reach and engagement

Getting 6,000 employees aligned around a new way of working.

Goal
Sun Life was introducing new organizational structures, terminology and ways of prioritizing work as part of a digital transformation. The challenge was helping employees understand not only what was changing, but how they would work within the new model.

Strategy
We created a three-part animated learning series that introduced the new structure, showed how work moved through it and explained how priorities would be set around changing client needs.

Result
Roughly 6,000 Sun Life employees watched the series, giving the organization a clear, consistent way to communicate the transformation at scale. Employees described the videos as easy to understand and responded positively to the animation and content, helping reduce the ambiguity that can slow adoption when new structures and ways of working are introduced.

Energy Shares

Making an unfamiliar investment model easier to act on.

Goal
Energy Shares needed prospective investors to understand how their money could participate in large-scale renewable energy projects. When the model is unfamiliar or abstract, people have to work harder to understand the opportunity before they can feel confident taking the next step.

Strategy
We used animation to connect the investment to project development, ownership and the solar and wind infrastructure behind it, making the model more tangible and easier to follow.

Result
The result was a clearer way for Energy Shares to explain the opportunity at a critical point in the investor journey. The video continues to support the company’s “How it works” experience, helping prospective investors understand what they’re investing in and how the model works.

What part of the message is creating friction?

Maybe prospects are interested but not acting. Maybe customers aren’t seeing enough value to use more of what you offer. Or maybe every launch takes too much effort to explain, align and scale.

We can find the communication friction, sharpen the story and use video and animation to help you convert more interest, increase adoption and remove the communication bottlenecks slowing growth.

Financial stories built for the real world

Whether it’s a banking product, lending campaign, investment platform or financial idea that’s difficult to put on screen, the challenge is helping the right audience understand what matters and why.

Our finance work shows how strategy, story and motion can make products, opportunities and ideas easier to follow across very different communication challenges.

Need people to see more than the numbers?

Whether you’re launching a financial product, introducing a new platform or trying to make a complex idea easier to act on, the first step is figuring out what your audience really needs to understand.

We can help you shape that story and put it in motion.

A few things worth clarifying

Financial video can involve detailed products, different levels of audience knowledge, changing information and extra layers of review. Here are a few common questions that can help you plan the right approach before production begins.
