Good stuff. I had 3D Stroke for a year now and was afraid to use it till now. I wish there were more tutorials on lesser hyped plugins like this one.

Would have been nicer if you included the flash preloader into the tutorial. Same for the project files.
I think this would have been a great resource tutorial if all above were included.

    Thanks,
I am looking forward for new tutorials.

I would have loved to include all those files but I don't have the rights to the fla for the loader.

I do see what you are saying and I will work on it for the tutorials to come.

You do very impressive work and your portfolio is quite dynamic. I really would love to see more tutorials and more consistent posting of them. I'm sure your very busy but short 5 to 10 minute tips and tricks in cinema 4D would be fantastic. I'm just beginning to get into motion graphics and would really like to start learning alot more cinema 4D. I think you are the best that what I've seen offer tutorials on it. Thats a lot being said considering you don't have alot of tutorials up.

    Hi Dan,

I am not sure if the site is still online but I do know that there is video capture of the live site in the tutorial.

Just checked and I see that they have taken the loader down. It is in the capture though.

    Hi Garus,

The site is live however, there's a different preloader. Just wanted to know if you somehow the previous swf file. ;)

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry I don't. An example of the swf playing should be in the tutorial. I was not involved in the flash side of the preloader.

    Cheers

Awesome tut! I looked for hours and finally found yours. I do have a question maybe you can help me on. I’m wanting to do this effect but have a little more camera movement. kind of like when the first and last part attach to the middle movement. I’m doing an intro for a company and I was wanting the line to be moving and the camera following, and pausing when it hits there 4 words. anyways I hope I explained that well enough. I hope you can help me with this.. thanks again just for this tut as well though. cheers

I am trying to import paths from Illustrator to use with Trapcode 3D stroke, but every time I copy and paste, the path gets cut off by the edges of my comp. I am working in 1920×1080, and I want my animation to have a slow pan from right to left. In your tutorial, the path bounding box extends pas the size of your comp. What am I doing wrong?
